Vision:

The poor people (in social and economic terms) will be able to live in a harmonious environment, where people from all sections of society contribute in the society’s development. This will lead their own initiatives of development in rural and urban areas in a sustainable way.

 

Mission:

To motivate the community and grass root level NGO’S, CBO’S and PRI’s for their area development through their own participation and to develop  their capacity from different kinds of levels to enable them to play a more sustainable and effective role in all sector of  socio-economic development in the service of poor and deprived communities

 

Objectives:

  • To utilize youth strength for undertaking development activities.

  • To work in development fields of education, agriculture, health natural disasters,   environment, energy  gender equality.

  • To increase the participation of women in different activities of society and to enable them to take decisions on their own.

  • To access the rural people in getting information.

  • To link the poor and deprived communities to different government schemes

  • To undertake immediate relief activities at times of Emergency.

Guiding Principles

  • It is necessary to build village organisation, by motivating village youth, educated and enthusiastic persons.

  • Working on this philosophy MPSSM has formed village development institutions in each village it worked and handed over the project responsibility to them.

  • MPSSM has also developed its own policy of revolving fund under which the beneficiary has to return back the principal amount to the village development institution.

  • While working on this philosophy, MPSSM, enabled village development institutions from 30 villages in getting 15% of the revolving fund from the individual beneficiaries.

  • Its main aim is overall development of the area, through various socio-economic development programmes. The main thrust has been on Scheduled Castes, Nomadic Tribes & Weaker sections of the society.
